As an employee of Regency Retirement Resorts, you are a member of a highly energetic team, performing food service and cleaning activities at Regency Retirement Resorts within established guidelines and procedures as assigned.

Schedule:

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Server, 37.5 Hours/Week

Shifts- 11:30am-7:30pm

Wage: $18.63/Hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains a level of conduct, personal grooming and appearance that meets the standards of the Resort.

Performs the service of food and beverage for all meals, events and catering functions.

Prepares and serves certain food items such as those needed for the breakfast meals.

Performs the setting up, clearing and take down of all Food and Beverage areas for all meals, events and catering functions.

Cleans and washes dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils and returns them to their proper storage area.

Performs the sanitizing and storage of all Food and Beverage furniture and equipment.

Performs cleaning of work areas by methods such as sweeping and damp mopping, spot washing, and the removal of garbage.

Checks and restocks dietary supplies, unpacks groceries and stocks shelves when necessary.

Performs all duties in relation to the serving and distribution of food and beverages.

Restocks and provides the beverage service in the lounge.

Performs such duties as preparing menu books, writing information on menu boards and maintaining lists of resident preferences.  Sees complaint/complement form and acts or responds accordingly.

Reports damaged or inoperable equipment, furniture and fixtures to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.

Works toward creating a team environment within the facility through positive interactions with other departments and staff.

Maintains confidentiality of all resident and organizational information and displays an attitude that shows respect and maintains the spirit, dignity and individuality of the Residents.  Communicates any information to the department supervisor that may assist in maintaining the Resident’s health, safety and happiness.

Familiarizes and adheres to all organizational policies and procedures.

Must be tactful, friendly and extremely patient when dealing with Residents.  Must be courteous and friendly to visitors and work in a cooperative manner with fellow workers.

Assists in the orientation process of new employees.

Performs other related duties and multi-tasking functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Related Food Service experience an asset. Food Safe. Serving it Right

Skills and Abilities

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Mentally and physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Able to plan and organize meal service.
