Service Technician, Loading Docks

NEX Industrial Supplies Inc. part of the Sentinel group, is looking for a Service Technician who knows everything about loading docks and restraints, who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to be part of something that’s growing.

Located in Etobicoke, we are currently recruiting for a Service Technician with the ability and the experience to perform service-repairs and installations on various types of Loading Docks, Vehicle Restraints, Control Panels and related Safety Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent Customer Service


• Complete daily service calls as required


• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.


• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.


• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations.


• Manage parts, tools, equipment and service vehicle


• Reliable and Responsible to the Team and Clients alike

What we're looking for:

• Have diagnostic/repair experience and ability, for both mechanical and electrical applications in the loading dock industry.


• Welding, Cutting, Torching, as well as Hydraulic Experience.


• Crane/Boom Experience.


• Good verbal and written communication


• Safety Certifications (we will provide all required training)


• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
