The Role
 

We are seeking two (2) experienced Tin Bashers to join our team at the Kearl Oil Sands site. This is a Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO) position requiring one individual for the day shift and one for the night shift.  You will be working a 14/14 rotation, 12 hours a day. 

Charter flights are provided from either Edmonton or Calgary with flight allowances based on the province located.  

Tentative start date: Mid June 

Compensation/Benefits

• CLAC hourly wages
• Payday is every Friday
• Company contributed RRSP & Pension contributions
• Benefits after 300 hours
• Paid training
• 10% vacation and stat holiday pay on regular earnings
• OT at 1.5 after 8 hours per day

Job Duties / Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of secondary building envelopes and drainage systems. Key tasks include:

• Gutter & Downspout Installation: Full assembly and mounting of water diversion systems.
• Drip Edge: Installing professional-grade drip edges to protect roof eaves and gables.
• Penetrations: Flashings and sealing for pipe and cable penetrations to ensure building integrity.
• Miscellaneous Scope: Various sheet metal tasks and general site support as required.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial or commercial sheet metal work (Tin Bashing).
• Ability to work independently on a 12-hour shift.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varied weather conditions.
• Safety Tickets: CSTS/BSO/CSO, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform (AWP) are highly preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
• Must be willing to complete a criminal background check
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
