Shipper Receiver

The Big Picture

The Shipper Receiver is responsible for the shipping and receiving of goods and services.  This includes purchase orders, transfer orders, customer orders and miscellaneous shipments.

Your Impact Through Innovation

• Determine the best method of shipment and arrange shipment


• Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer


• Consider the most cost effective method of shipment


• Pick and pack the goods to shipped


• Prepare and affix identifying information and shipping instructions


• Track all shipments ensuring delivery


• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances


• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods


• Receive incoming goods in electronic inventory system (ERP)


• Move materials and items by hand, hand truck (pump cart) or electronic hand truck (Walkie).


• Build, strap and wrap skids.


• Perform general housekeeping in shipping-receiving and warehouse areas


• Other duties as required.


• Comply with the Health & Safety policies of the company and inform management of unsafe working conditions.

Your Unique Expertise

Required Skills:

• Completion of Secondary School


• Accurate and detail oriented


• Organized and can work under pressure


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Proficient in MS Office


• 1+ years of relevant work experience


• Demonstrated competence as Material Handling Associate

Asset Skills:

• Some experience with ERP systems


• Training or certification in related Supply Chain field (I.e. customs documentation)

This role has a base salary range of $41,205.32 CAD to $66,958.65 CAD. Final offers are determined based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
