Job Description - Shipper/Reciever

Shipper and Receiver – Afternoon Shift
Distribution Centre, Ingersoll ON

Tirecraft Ontario a proudly Canadian owned and operated expert in tires and automotive services. We’re seeking a dynamic Shipper/Receiver to join our team and help us maintain efficient logistics. You will support our Distribution Centre team as a Shipper and Receiver, on the afternoon shift - Sunday to Thursday from 5:00PM to 1:00AM. We are growing and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of people enthusiastic about the industry.

This is an hourly position with wages ranging from $20.00-$22.00 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Receive daily product shipments and capable of reconciling and ensuring accuracy of paperwork.
Track and Record shipment discrepancies.
Organize and disperse materials and shipments into respective storage.
Load and unload tires and wheels from deliveries.
Prepare daily shipments and orders, send on company trucks.
Cycle counts.
Deliveries as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
Valid truck clamps, forklifts, and high lift picker license preferred, will train as needed.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Organized and keen attention to detail
Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about industrial tires
Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting (50+ pounds)
