We are looking for a Shop Labourer to join our RM Building Solutions division!This position will primarily be responsible for general labour within a shop fabrication environment.This position has strong potential to develop into a fabrication or welding apprenticeship.

Pay: Starting hourly rate of $21/hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform general tasks related to material handling, clean up, etc.
• Basic tool and machinery operations and other manufacturing tasks
• Assist tradespersons and other fabrication personnel
• Transport materials and products throughout the shop
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with health and safety policies
• Instill a culture of safety and maintain occupational health and safety documentation

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license or transportation to work
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs
• Preferably, experience with welding or fabrication
• Dependable and reliable
• Safety conscious
• Preferably, experience with fabrication or welding environments

Hours of Work

Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday 6:00am – 4:00pm with 8-10 hour shifts.
