Shop Mechanic

Beyond Landscaping
Ltd. is a fun young company looking for someone to jump in and
help us keep the company (And our equipment) running well. An
ideal candidate would be someone who has experience in a wide
variety of tasks and is looking for full-time work and being on
call for snow removal work.

Some of the things
we regularly need done and would hope you have experience
doing:

- Maintenance on
vehicles (Oil changes/tires/fluids /brakes and basic maintenance,
fix broken mirrors etc. and tracking maintenance of our 16
trucks).

- Fix tools
(Honda/STIHL) around warehouse basic repairs /oil changes (We take
any major fixes in but need spark plugs/oil change, sharpening
done)

- Fix broken
tools/rakes/shovels as possible

- Fix wiring on
trailer lights

- Change batteries
on vehicles/tools as needed.

- Snow plow/salter
maintenance/care

- Hardscape heavy
equipments: Skid steer, excavators etc.
maintenance/care

Other tasks which
are trainable

- Sharpening mower
blades/trimmer blades

-Dropping tools
off that can't be fixed to machine shop.

PLUS anything else
you think you can help us out with, changing lightbulbs, improving
the office (Building walls, storage racks, installing furniture
etc) or just generally IMPROVING our company, the way we do
things, the way we organize things, and our
tools/equipment.

WE ALWAYS have
lots of things to do and keep people busy and need help
with.

We are all super
easy going but like to work hard, and like to surround ourselves
with like minded people. Who wants to work with people who
aren't like that? We have a great group who likes to have a
blast all summer long (Hello weekly Friday BBQ's/Beer, and
numerous staff parties.

required to work as a member on a small team, potentially as
a crew lead if you have the experience.

Pay entirely based
one experience, ability and work ethic &
ability.

Requirements for
this position:

A driver's
license and comfort driving pickup trucks, is an
asset.

Experience safely
operating power tools and other maintenance
equipment.
