Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Inspector to join our Shredder Department. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of ferrous/non ferrous metals, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you're responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Identify and segregating non-conforming materials, such as contaminants or prohibited items
  • Utilizing appropriate tools and equipment to measure and verify the weight, dimensions, and composition materials
  • Collaborating with the operations team to coordinate the movement and storage of materials within the yard
  • Communicating and reporting any deviations from quality standards

Qualifications

What you bring to the team:

  • You have previous experience working in a heavy industrial work setting
  • You have strong communication skills with experience coordinating across multiple departments
  • You have high attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • You are able to learn new processes and systems quickly
  • You are adaptable and flexible with the ability to adjust priorities as needed
