Your future role

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration and execution of Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for the Alstom Urbalis Flo solution, contributing to the safety, efficiency, and success of railway signaling projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Installation, V&V, Safety, Quality, and Project Management), develop and execute T&C procedures, and ensure compliance with EHS and railway safety standards, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

• 
  

  Managing and executing Test & Commissioning (T&C) activities related to railway signaling subsystems up to successful completion and handover to customers or warranty teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Leading test activities over railway signaling systems and ensuring the Test & Commissioning process is executed based on approved procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring all required installation documentation provided by designers and instruction changes (including field modifications – FMI) are adequately recorded, reported, and approved.

  
  


• 
  

  Conducting deep troubleshooting of wayside/railway systems and equipment (for Urbalis Flo) to identify root causes of failures and integration issues, and defining containment and sustainable solutions with support from the Test team and Engineering.

  
  


• 
  

  Sharing findings with Installation, Test & Commissioning, and project management teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Conducting work planning, pre-work safety briefs, post-work debriefs, and escalating matters as required to meet project Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.

  Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or a Technical Degree combined with equivalent years of experience.

  In-depth experience or understanding of Installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), or Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for railway signaling projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of railway signaling subsystems and installation processes for the Alstom Urbalis Flo product line.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with interfacing between Design, Installation, and other stakeholders.

  
  


• Willingness to work in the field and on night shifts (including weekends) as required to support project milestones.

  Flexibility and availability for short or long missions in different locations and countries.

  Strong leadership skills, with a sense of urgency and priority management.
