We are looking for a Site Foreman to join our Petrochemicals team in Cornwall, Ontario.

As a Site Foreman, you are responsible for supervising day‑to‑day site operations across production, warehousing, utilities, and quality control activities. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you operate independently within broadly defined objectives and play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This position supports production continuity, product quality, environmental compliance, and strong collaboration with operations, laboratory, maintenance, and engineering teams.

As a Site Foreman, you create chemistry by...

 



  • Supervising unionized operators and material handlers involved in production, receiving, distribution, and minor maintenance activities.

  • Managing daily workloads across production plants, tank farm operations, railcar movements, warehousing, yard duties, and general maintenance.

  • Analyzing incoming raw materials to ensure correct quality and quantity and overseeing appropriate placement in warehouses or tank farms.

  • Monitoring and analyzing manufactured materials throughout all stages of production to maintain the highest achievable quality and maximize productivity.

  • Performing final analysis and release of finished products, ensuring correct documentation, quality, and shipment to customers.

  • Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

  • Directing production adjustments during ongoing operations to maintain quality standards and high productivity levels.

  • Overseeing operation of gas‑fired boilers, including routine water treatment testing and minor maintenance.

  • Managing biological effluent treatment operations through routine sampling, analysis, and system adjustments to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Acting as permit issuer for safe work permits and overseeing contractor safety and performance.

  • Conducting safety and housekeeping tours, leading safety meetings, and ensuring safety equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.

  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements for employees and contractors.

If you...

 



  • Have completed supervisory training.

  • Hold a 3‑year community college diploma or equivalent in a technology or related field.

  • Bring 3–4 years of relevant work‑related training and experience.

  • Possess technical knowledge related to laboratory operations and boiler functions.

  • Have completed or can maintain WHMIS, first aid, and fork truck training.

  • Are familiar with ISO 9001 requirements and quality management systems.

  • Have knowledge of safe work permits and applicable health and safety legislation.

  • Are comfortable using standard computer tools such as Windows, Excel, and SAP programs.
