Job Description - Site Installer - Level 2

Prepare the worksite for steel installation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and coordinating with other trades as necessary.

Locate, retrieve, and organize parts, tools, and equipment required for installation.

Lay out and position steel components according to blueprints and project specifications.

Perform fitting and welding tasks to assemble and secure structural steel components, ensuring compliance with welding codes and industry standards.

Inspect welds and finished assemblies for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.

Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to execute installation work precisely.

Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding tools, as required.

Maintain a clean and organized work area by disposing of waste materials, scrap metal, and debris properly.

Follow all workplace safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a secure and hazard-free job site.

Communicate effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
