Site Superintendent – Vancouver
Novacom is a commercial and multi-family General Contractor based in Surrey, BC. We are hiring a Site Superintendent to lead our Townhomes project in Vancouver, BC — $6M ground-up, wood-frame townhouse build. You'll be the on-site leader from project startup through occupancy: site logistics, multi-trade coordination, schedule execution, and quality. Construction kicks off in July 2026 and runs approximately 14 months through summer 2027, with additional multi-family and base building work to follow.

What You'll Manage:
Project: Townhomes - $6M ground-up wood-frame townhouse build, Vancouver, BC
Start: July 2026
Duration: Approximately 14 months (through summer 2027) — full-time, with a strong pipeline of work to follow
Location: On-site, Vancouver. Candidates must reside in Greater Vancouver and be available for in-person site work.
What You’ll Do
Lead Site Execution: Oversee daily construction site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate Trades & Suppliers: Build strong relationships, resolve challenges quickly, and keep all work progressing efficiently.
Collaborate With Project Management: Work closely with the PM team to align site execution with schedule, budget, and client expectations.
Manage Client Communication: Act as the on-site representative in meetings with architects, consultants, and clients.
Track Documentation: Use Procore, SiteDocs, and other tools to manage field reports, schedules, change orders, cost tracking, and more.
Monitor Budgets: Identify efficiencies, control costs, and provide regular financial updates to leadership.

Qualifications
6-10+ years' experience in multi-family or commercial construction, with proven Site Superintendent experience on ground-up base building projects
Wood-frame multi-family / townhouse experience a strong asset
Track record running projects from startup through occupancy — mobilization, trade sequencing, envelope, and turnover
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and quality control
Excellent communication and leadership — comfortable being the on-site face of the company with clients, consultants, and trades
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Outbuild, Microsoft Teams)
Gold Seal Certified, BCIT Construction Management, or equivalent credentials an asset
Valid driver's license; must reside in Greater Vancouver and be legally entitled to work in Canada
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Must already reside in the Greater Vancouver area and be available for in-person site work.
Preferred: Availability to start immediately or within 2 weeks.
