Job Description - Skid Steer Operator

Evolve Recycling is looking for full-time permanent Skid Steer Operator to work in our tire recycling facility in Brantford, ON. Evolve Recycling is Canada's leader in tire recycling turning used tires into usable products such as multi-purpose matting, artificial sports surfaces and other innovative products.



 


Job Duties and Responsibilities:



Unload trailers and bunkers



Start-up and shut down of machines



Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports



Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as required



Operate a Forklift 


 


MUST have skid steer experience



Assist other operators when required



Move tires from trailers and bunkers to keep production flowing


Fill hoppers with processed rubber



Stage materials on the plant floor



Ensure continual feed of material to hoppers to keep production going



Keep work areas clean and free of debris



Other duties as assigned


 


Requirements:



Previous experience with skid steers ex. snow removal, snow plow operators, snow plow, heavy equipment operators etc. (certification considered an asset)



Previous experience with forklift operation (certification considered an asset)



Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility



Able to work in a fast-paced production environment



Strong work ethic with a positive attitude



Willingness to assist where needed



Ability to work with limited supervision



Flexibility to work overtime as required


 


Skid Steer License
