Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the incumbent supports internal customers by performing a variety of tasks related to the operation, maintenance and installation of the College’s plumbing and mechanical systems at all campuses, specifically. The installation repair and maintenance of plumbing fixtures located throughout the washrooms and building service areas on campuses. The supply and discharge of water within the various buildings on campuses. The installation, monitoring, and servicing of the campuses HVAC and associated mechanical systems. The incumbent will repair/supervise the repairs to the water mains and drains within the campus, with the assistance of contractors if so required. Perform varied technical building maintenance functions within the campus related to facilities servicing. The incumbent may perform other duties related within the Facilities Management department when required. Depending on the College’s needs, the incumbent will be required to travel between campuses to perform their duties.
