Join us as a Bunkers (Snack Bar) Attendant at Glen Arbour Golf Club, where your “office” is one of Nova Scotia’s most stunning outdoor settings. As the Bunkers Attendant, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to members and guests at Glen Arbour Golf Course. You will confidently assist guests by suggesting menu items, managing special requests and allergies, and ensuring all service interactions are warm, accurate, and efficient.

Candidates may be considered for full-time or part-time seasonal employment.

How you’ll spend your day:

1. Deliver prompt, friendly, and personalized service to members and guests visiting the Bunkers canteen.


2. Serve food and beverages accurately, maintaining awareness of customer preferences and any special requests, including food allergies and dietary restrictions.


3. Maintain complete knowledge of the Bunkers menu, including daily specials from Deerfield Pub and seasonal offerings.


4. Accurately process sales, handle payments, and complete daily cash‑outs and reports.


5. Take responsibility for canteen inventory, treating food, beverages, and supplies with the same care and accountability as cash.


6. Assist with stocking and replenishment of food, beverage, and retail items within the canteen as needed.


7. Verify legal drinking age when serving alcoholic beverages by requesting and checking identification in accordance with Nova Scotia regulations.


8. Follow all Health & Safety, sanitation, food‑handling, and Smart Serve guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant operation.


9. Maintain a neat and professional appearance, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag.


10. Complete daily opening and closing procedures and contribute to weekly deep‑cleaning tasks.

What will help you thrive:

• Two (2) years of experience in a customer service role  


• Smart Serve certification


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills  


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team  


• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow  


• Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting


• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
