Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to Shovelers to our team in Bedford! This is a contract position with an anticipated start date of November 2, 2026.

We have done premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects like Argyle and Spring Garden Street, Queen’s Marque, and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck. Check out Trim Landscaping to learn more!

Perks of joining Trim Landscaping:

• Hourly Compensation $18- $20.00 per hour (experience-based - Winter Season)
  


• Over time pay, we appreciate your hard work!


• Standby pay of 40 hours bi-weekly from December to April, so you have steady income through the season even when it isn't snowing

Your day at Trim Landscaping:

You will work varied part-time hours and shovel snow on commercial properties during and after snow storms. You must be reliable and able to work on-call in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity could transition into full-time work in the Spring.

Job Duties

• Shovel snow


• Respond promptly and be ready to work as snowfalls occur


• Complete check in procedures for snow removal operations


• Collaborate with various other team members onsite to ensure properties are safe during snowfalls
  


• Operate snowblower and other handheld equipment

Requirements

• Available to work long hours on-call


• Able to lift up to 50lbs


• Experience in snow removal is considered an asset
