Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Communications, the incumbent is responsible for ideating, creating, and producing engaging content, primarily video, for Air Transat’s social media platforms.
They help translate the brand’s essence into creative, impactful content that inspires the travel community and supports marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Produce, film, and edit dynamic and innovative video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) tailored to the codes of each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Ensure fast and agile production in order to capitalize on trends and news relevant to the brand.
Collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to develop creative concepts aligned with the editorial calendar and brand priorities.
Adapt content so it can be used both organically and in support of promotional campaigns.
Occasionally travel to capture authentic content in our destinations and on board our aircraft.
Actively monitor best practices and emerging trends on social media.
Manage the full content production cycle—from pre-production (ideation, scripting) to post-production (editing, text, music)—while ensuring compliance with brand standards, internal policies, and the operational context of the airline industry.
Collaborate with the strategist to analyze content performance, identify the most engaging formats, and optimize the creative strategy.
Work closely with the brand strategist to ensure that all produced content respects Air Transat’s visual identity and brand tone.
Degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or communications, digital content creation, social media management, or a similar role.
Excellent mastery of major social platforms and their specific codes.
Strong video shooting and editing skills using mobile and/or professional tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.*
High creativity, initiative, autonomy, and strong teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of the travel industry (an asset).
*A strong command of French is required for positions based in Québec. The incumbent will need to communicate frequently in English, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders, in Québec and internationally.
