Job Description - Social Media Content Editor

We are in search of a Social Media Content Editor and Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer to oversee diverse marketing campaigns and day-to-day marketing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in generating inbound leads, increasing followers, creating/designing posts, and optimizing SEO.

We're seeking a strong team player to produce exceptional photos & videos for our Brokers, Agents, and Marketing Departments, for mortgage videos, ads, social squares, websites, and a variety of social media platforms. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, and have a creative eye for detail.

This role will drive our efforts to engage both current and potential customers with high-quality and consistent content, while also managing and executing social media marketing and advertising for both the Brokerage and its Brokers and Agents.

Our Social Media Content Editor is fundamental to Rebel Mortgage's journey to becoming the top Mortgage Brokerage in York and Simcoe County. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team with a vision to revolutionize the Mortgage industry and provide clients with the best Real Estate Mortgage experience. Backed by a proven system and support from a team of over 100 experts, you will be set up for success.

This is an hourly freelance contract position, with up to 20 hrs.'/week on average, though this may flex a little due to seasonality that may grow to a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop agency team events and then promote on social media channels
  • Develop new community events and all signage to encourage and entice potentialclient engagement
  • Monitor incoming leads and prospects and then incorporate those into marketing campaigns
  • Deliver social media content with a fresh approach for each listing and respond to all followers in a timely manner
  • Streamline company materials and campaigns to ensure a consistent and concise message and content is being utilized while advertising properties to their fullest potential
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly e-newsletters
  • Produce new advertising and marketing campaigns that are relevant
  • Consistently update all website content so it is fresh and current
  • Design business cards, feature sheets, custom signs, and any other mortgage marketing content as needed
  • Arrange headshots for newBrokers and Agents
  • Assist with event planning

Must Have

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are a must.
  • Perfect written English, as well as grammar
  • Capable and proficient understanding of Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, Photoshop, Lightroom, as well as DaVinci Resolve, and others.
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing, orDegree in Marketing or equivalent work experience required
  • Maintains an open mind to new ideas and suggestions
  • Highly efficient at communicating effectively in both writing and in-person
  • High level of professionalism
  • Be focused, reliable, innovative, and productive
  • Remain calm, collected, and motivated in a hectic and busy work environment
  • Highly creative and autonomous
  • Develops innovative forward design concepts
  • Passionate about assisting people and providing an excellent customer service experience
  • Valid work permit forCanada

Nice to have

  • Experience in writing online content - preferably Mortgage, Real Estate, and Finance Related
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Coding experience in python, java.
  • API Experience for integration from CRMs to other third party web programs.
  • Experience with Panasonic GH5's and soon GH7 Cameras
  • Experience shooting Full Frame video withPanasonic Lumix S5IIx
  • Experience with Ninja Atomos V's exporting to NAS and editing over LAN
