• We are looking for a marketer who is a master of building a brand’s reach and relevance online. You have an instinct for virality and a deep understanding of what compels audiences to share. You know how to create cohesive, culturally relevant content that is engineered to spread.

• You don’t just follow trends, you anticipate them, crafting distinct hooks and formats that stop the scroll. Your talent lies in turning our brand’s narrative into stunning, highly-shareable content that sparks widespread conversation and rapidly grows our community.

2. Passion for Fun, Games, and Youth Culture

• You thrive in the fast-shifting worlds of online culture—gaming, animation, fandoms, Discord humor, and creator communities. You understand the nuances of Gen Z language, and your creativity is fueled by TikTok, Twitch, Reddit, and everything in between.

• You're not just a marketer; you’re part of the community we serve. You’re excited to make content that delights, entertains, and empowers creators to bring their imaginations to life.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As the first marketing hire, you'll take ownership of brand storytelling and organic growth from the ground up. You’ll partner closely with founders, designers, and engineers. Here’s what your typical week might look like:

1. Content Strategy & Production

• Own the full social content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube Shorts, and Discord.

• Concept, script, and produce culturally relevant short-form videos and posts that drive shares, likes, and creator adoption.

• Run weekly content brainstorms and rapid production sprints—test, learn, repeat.

• Coordinate creator shoutouts, duets, reactions, and remixes using Viggle AI-generated content.

2. Growth Marketing & Experiments

• Lead experiments across new channels, formats, and audiences to identify high-leverage growth loops.

• Track analytics across platforms and iterate rapidly based on data—hook performance, completion rates, shareability, and community engagement.

• Identify and capitalize on viral moments or cultural events in real-time.

3. Brand Development & Voice

• Define and evolve our brand tone, voice, and aesthetic as we scale—fun, irreverent, creator-first.

• Ensure consistency across all external messaging, from social posts to website copy to Discord banners.

4. Creator & Community Partnerships

• Work closely with top creators and community members to co-create campaigns that amplify reach and participation.

• Activate organic UGC (user-generated content) challenges and remix trends using our tech.

• Be deeply active in the Discord—sharing updates, engaging creators, and sparking conversation.

5. Startupland Builder Energy

• Spin up marketing processes, playbooks, and systems from scratch.

• Hire and manage freelancers, editors, or interns as we scale.

• Help shape our broader GTM strategy, positioning, and messaging alongside the founders.
