Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of full-stack development experience using the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) technology stack.
  

• 4+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and updating technical documentation, including build books, deployment procedures, release management documentation, and operational/support documentation.
  

• Experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing application enhancements and technical improvements, including solutions that comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
  

• Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
  

• Knowledge of IT security best practices and authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
  

• Experience updating and maintaining solution design artifacts, models, diagrams, and supporting documentation.
  

• Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with functional, technical, security, privacy, integration, and cloud requirements.
  

• Experience supporting architecture, security, privacy, and governance review processes by providing technical input, documentation, and implementation expertise.
  

• Experience providing knowledge transfer to support operational continuity and future activities.
  
  

Nice To have:

• Familiarity with Government of Ontario Information and Technology Standards (GO-ITS).
