Software Development Director

• Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with business goals, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term technical success.


• Lead, mentor, and develop multiple software engineering teams, including engineering managers, team leads, and senior developers across distributed global environments.


• Drive the successful delivery of product and platform initiatives while maintaining high standards for quality, security, reliability, and operational efficiency.


• Guide system architecture evolution and promote the adoption of modern technologies, cloud infrastructure, and scalable software development practices.


• Optimize development workflows, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, release management processes, and engineering performance metrics.


• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and executive leadership teams to define priorities, technical roadmaps, and delivery expectations.


• Identify technical and operational risks proactively while implementing best practices for observability, testing, compliance, and security.


• Foster a high-performance engineering culture centered on accountability, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.


• Support organizational growth by strengthening engineering processes, improving cross-functional collaboration, and scaling technical operations effectively.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years in engineering leadership or software management roles.


• Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional, and distributed engineering teams in high-growth technology environments.


• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.


• Deep understanding of scalable architectures, microservices, modern backend systems, and software engineering best practices.


• Solid experience with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD practices, DevOps collaboration, and software delivery optimization.


• Strong technical decision-making, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.


• Experience managing globally distributed teams and supporting organizational scaling initiatives.


• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.


• Experience within gaming, fintech, platform-as-a-service, developer tools, or payment technology environments is considered an advantage.


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.


• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, or technical leadership are considered a plus.
