We are seeking an experienced and technically versatile Software Engineering Manager to join our cloud marketplace platform team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in architecting and scaling distributed systems, leading high-impact projects, and building robust infrastructure for data-intensive enterprise applications.
What You’ll Do
- Lead design and development of distributed SaaS infrastructure and microservices to support large-scale data processing, user workflows, and marketplace integrations.
- Architect solutions that align with stringent security, multi-tenant isolation, and performance requirements.
- Own cloud infrastructure setup, CI/CD automation, and observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
- Work closely with product and GTM teams to translate business goals into technical solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP marketplaces.
- Build high-performance backend systems (preferably using Java, Python, or C/C++) and integrate frontend experiences (React, TypeScript).
- Support delivery of marketplace-native features such as co-sell automation, billing integration, and metering/reporting tools.
- Lead peer code reviews, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure systems meet high availability and fault tolerance expectations in compliance with cloud-native best practices.
What You’ll Need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Golang (MUST), Java, TypeScript, Python, and/or C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with marketplace operations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related billing or co-sell flows.
- Strong background in distributed systems, cloud-native application architecture, and performance optimization.
- Prior experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Flink, Hadoop) and scalable simulation/calculation engines.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, API design, and SaaS multi-tenant architectures.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a product-centric organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
