YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SOLUTION ANALYST:

* Maintain solid and current knowledge of company strategy, strategic initiatives, and any other changes that impact IT architecture.

* Apply creative, outside-the-box thinking to solve complex IT challenges and deliver innovative solutions

* Develop and maintain architecture documentation

* Stay at the cutting edge of technology trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.

* Collaborate with business teams to understand specific business requirements and develop IT solutions using SaaS based products.

* Ensure adjustment, optimization, and integration of architecture design with future business requirements, reducing IT complexity and lowering system implementation and operational costs.

* Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity.



WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A SOLUTION ANALYST:

* Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience

* 3–5+ years experience in business applications for a multi-channel retail enterprise

* Project management experience an asset

* Knowledge of SaaS and cloud-first app integrations

* Excellent use of tools such as Visio to create architectural and context diagrams

* Familiarity with ETL procedures and design; ability to recognize system impacts and best practices for implementing new solutions

* Experience Integrating API cloud applications with existing systems seamlessly

* Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture such as information technology ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, etc.
