In this highly functional and technical role, you will be responsible for creating intelligent, collaborative AI agents that can reason, plan, and execute tasks across domain-specific environments\u2014such as billing, commerce, and operations. \nYou will work across engineering, data science, and product teams to define agent behaviours, task decomposition logic, planning strategies, and system architecture\u2014bridging cutting-edge GenAI research with real-world production needs.\n\n## What will your job look like?\n\n * Lead the architecture and design of Amdocs\u0027s underlying infrastructure.\n * Work with software engineers and other partners (i.e Architects, Product) to define and be aligned with business, development, and deployment needs.\n * Research and adopt new technologies used for applying concrete solutions to ongoing challenges.\n * Build high-level solutions for business requests.\n * Model the system components and define the R\u0026R between components.\n * Contribute towards the creation of business flows based on client requirements.\n * Meet customers to understand their needs and explain the product architecture.\n\n\n\n## All you need is...\n\n\u2022 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in architectural leadership roles. \n\u2022 Deep experience building or designing systems with Generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation. \n\u2022 Proven hands-on expertise in building multi-agent architectures, including task orchestration, agent planning, and communication strategies. \n\u2022 Strong Python development skills and experience with AI orchestration tools such as LangChain or custom agent frameworks. \n\u2022 Understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, tools/plugins, function calling). \n\u2022 Solid grasp of system design, including microservices, event-driven systems, and state management. \n\u2022 A strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to design intelligent, adaptable systems in uncertain or complex domains. \n\u2022 Great communication skills across both engineering and product audiences. \n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s or master\u2019s in computer science, Engineering or a related field. \nPreferred: \n\u2022 Familiarity with large-scale production systems, observability, and runtime control of AI agents. \n\u2022 Experience with billing, commerce, or operational workflows in Telcos or an enterprise environment.\n\n## Why you will love this job:\n\n * You will be challenged with crafting high-level design while setting technical standards.\n * You will have the opportunity to work with the industry most sophisticated technologies!\n * Evolve yourself in the future and lead all aspects of a suite of products, develop a high-level design that connects several (heterogeneous) sub-systems, which together make up a whole system.\n * We are a dynamic, multi-cultural organization that constantly innovates and empowers our employees to grow.
