About the Role The AI Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO) at Insight Canada is a \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bsenior executive leader responsible for bridging the gap between technology innovation and business strategy. The AI Field CTO operates at the intersection of customers, partners, and internal teams - engaging directly with the market to understand business challenges, shaping technical and GTM strategy, and ensuring Insight\u0027s solutions deliver measurable value. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and thought leadership to help customers innovate and achieve their digital transformation goals. Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners. Engage with clients to understand business challenges, translate them into technology opportunities, and map them to Insight\u0027s solution portfolio. Drive revenue and upsell across top prioritized accounts across the Quebec and East Canada regions. Sales \u0026 Business Development Support: Partner with sales, marketing and delivery teams, providing technical expertise during customer engagements, presentations, and deal cycles. Enable sales teams to articulate the value and differentiation of Insight Canada\u0027s AI and Agentic solutions portfolio. Carry a target for AI pipeline and revenue to include software and services. Technology Strategy \u0026 Innovation: Define and \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bexecute technology strategies aligned with customer outcomes and Insight\u0027s business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and evangelize emerging technologies or strategic vendor partnerships that will drive competitive advantage. \u200b\u200b\u200bProvide input into IP, offer, and product development to ensure alignment with market demand and customer needs. \u200b\u200b\u200bCollaborate with GTM leaders to define AI KPIs and revenue targets to drive future investments and strategy Thought Leadership \u0026 Technical Evangelism: Represent Insight Canada as an industry thought leader through articles, presentations, conferences, and public forums. Champion Insight Canada\u0027s technology vision across customers, partners, and the broader industry ecosystem. \u200b\u200b\u200bMentor and develop the next generation of AI apprentices, early-in-career graduates, and rising AI delivery talent at Insight. What we\u0027re looking for: Bachelor\u0027s degree Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution development, or enterprise technology leadership. 5-10 years of leadership experience in roles such as CTO, CIO, VP/Director of Engineering, Product Development, or Solutions Architecture. Proven track record of engaging C-level executives and shaping enterprise technology strategies. Deep expertise in cloud, data, analytics, AI/ML, and emerging technologies relevant to enterprise digital transformation. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including consulting skills.
