Spanish Teacher Grade 8 - 12

As part of our vibrant team, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Spanish teacher who will inspire and empower students in Grades 8-12, fostering language proficiency, cultural understanding, and personal growth.

As a teacher at QMS, you will play a crucial role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment that sparks curiosity, celebrates individuality, and inspires each student to reach their fullest potential. Your teaching will reflect our commitment to empowering students academically and personally, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to a rapidly changing world.

In this role, you will provide engaging language instruction, design interactive and immersive classroom experiences, assess student progress, and foster a lifelong passion for learning. You will also collaborate with colleagues, organize enriching group activities, and contribute to extracurricular initiatives that enhance the student experience and promote personal growth.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish at or near a native speaker level.


• A degree in languages is required.


• A Bachelor of Education and a Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.


• At least 3 years of secondary teaching experience is preferred.


• British Columbia Teachers' Certification is required (or the ability to obtain one before the start of the school year).
