LE POSTE
Pour l’un de nos clients, nous recherchons un(e) Spécialiste Flight Control Laws Design (FBW). Vous ferez partie de l’équipe CLaws, responsable de la conception, du développement, des essais et de la certification des lois de commande de vol électriques (Fly-by-Wire – FBW). Les lois de pilotage permettent de gérer la réponse de l’aéronef aux sollicitations du pilote, de réduire sa charge de travail et de satisfaire aux exigences de qualités de pilotage ainsi qu’aux performances et charges structurales, tout en assurant des protections supplémentaires des enveloppes de vol et structurales.

VOS MISSIONS

Écrire en suivant les standards DO-178B et SAE ARP 4754 les exigences d’un modèle existant de lois de pilotage expérimentales afin de répondre aux exigences fonctionnelles ;
Valider et vérifier (V&V) les lois de pilotage pour un nouveau calculateur de vol ;
Si nécessaire, mettre à jour le modèle de conception des lois de pilotage ainsi que leurs outils d’évaluation en utilisant Matlab et le langage C++.

VOTRE PROFIL

Vous devez avoir un baccalauréat ou plus en ingénierie aéronautique ;
Vous devez avoir une compréhension des méthodes de test de lois de pilotage basées sur les modèles ;
Vous êtes familier avec les standards DO-178B (ou plus récent), les méthodes de vérification et de validation des exigences système (SAE ARP 4754) ;
Vous êtes compétent pour l’utilisation de Matlab et Simulink ;
Vous êtes compétent en programmation de scripts Matlab ;
Vous avez une compréhension de la programmation en C/C++ ;
Vous devez parler et écrire couramment en anglais ;
Vous devez être un joueur d'équipe avec un esprit innovateur, motivé et capable de travailler indépendamment.

CONDITIONS D'EMPLOI

Position sur site client à Dorval.
Position hybride, 2-3 jours sur site
Poste permanent ou à contrat (minimum 1 an de mandat)

THE ROLE
For one of our customer we are looking for a Flight Control Laws Design (FBW) Specialist. You will be part of the CLaws team, responsible for the design, development, testing and certification of the Fly-by-Wire (FBW) flight control laws. The CLaws provide a means to manage the aircraft response due to pilot inputs, to reduce pilot workload and to meet the handling quality and performance/structural loads requirements along with providing additional flight and structural envelope protections.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Write requirements for existing experimental model-based CLaws to meet functional requirements and in accordance to the DO-178B standard and SAE ARP 4754
Perform CLaws validation and verification (V&V) for a new experimental primary flight computer
If needed, update the Claws design model as well as the corresponding assessment tools using Matlab and C++ programming

WHAT YOU BRING

You must possess a Bachelor or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering
You must have an understanding of testing methods for model-based CLaws
You are familiar with the DO-178B standards (or more recent), system requirements verification and validation methods (ARP 4754).
You should be proficient in using Matlab and Simulink
You should be proficient in programming Matlab scripts
You should have an understanding of C/C++ programming
You must be fluent in written and spoken English
You must be an innovative team player, self-motivated and able to work independently

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

Position located on the client site in Dorval.
Hybrid role: 2–3 days on site.
Permanent position or contract (minimum 1-year assignment).
