Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr IT Architect to join our world-class team. As a Sr IT Architect, you will demonstrate expertise in shaping and implementing our information technology strategies to drive innovation and support our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

• Collaborate with diverse teams to identify IT architecture requirements and develop solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop and deploy IT systems and infrastructure that are scalable and reliable, following established industry guidelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals to successfully implement complex projects and initiatives.
• Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of existing IT systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems by strictly adhering to established protocols and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development methodologies.

• 5+ years of experience in agile project management/solution design in IIoT, manufacturing and/or Pharma industry

  - Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing both AI and IIoT solutions in an enterprise setting with value creation at scale.

  - Demonstrable expertise in prompt engineering and GenAI solution design.

  - Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) technologies.

  - Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.

  - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

  - Experience in prototyping and testing AI solutions.

  - Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
