Free on-site parking available. Role Overview As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the engineering and design of process-mechanical systems for industrial plants and facilities. The role involves leading designer and engineers to function as Engineer of Record (EOR) on plant process mechanical systems to design process utilities to process battery limits. You will handle various scope package utilizing your expertise to oversee designers and EITs ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical packages to Project teams. The role will also provide the opportunity to perform peer reviews and consultation to other senior mechanical engineers work and design responsibilities for which you offer knowledge base and expertise. Key Responsibilities Process Mechanical Design: Design development and oversight of: Design & sizing of process utilities & systems (steam, compressed air, water, effluent) Sizing, selection, and design criteria, of equipment (boilers, compressors, pumps) Heat and mass balance for utility delivery to process battery limits (steam, process water, compressed air) P&ID & line list development Pipe routing & Design Drain piping/plumbing for effluent - Nice to have · Delegation & Management Delegate, oversee, and review work of professional engineers · Package Delivery: Manage the delivery of scope package projects on budget and within schedule, maintaining rigorous attention to detail and project requirements. Ensure congruency between multi-disciplinary packages to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless integration. · Documentation and Verification: Review and check project documents and deliverables rigorously. Responsible for the issuance of all engineering documentation under seal, ensuring all designs are substantiated and meet both client and regulatory standards. What We Need from You Degree in Mechanical with minimum 10 years of experience Extensive experience in Process-Mechanical systems, ideally in industries such as mining, chemical processing, oil & gas, or pulp & paper Proven ability to work on large-scale industrial projects. Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
