As a Talent Sourcer, you’ll power the engine that fuels early-stage growth — finding, engaging, and qualifying exceptional talent for some of North America’s most ambitious startups.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with our recruiters to keep pipelines strong, outreach sharp, and candidate experiences seamless.
And because we move fast, you’ll see your impact immediately — every shortlist you build will help a startup land their next game-changing hire.
This role is for someone who’s equal parts strategic thinker and hunter — someone who loves tools, tech, and people, and wants to make an actual dent in how startups hire.
Support live searches across engineering, product, AI, and design roles
Identify and engage top candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Apollo, Ashby, and creative sourcing techniques
Build and maintain clean, high-quality call lists and outreach sequences
Validate candidate-market fit and hand off warm, high-intent talent to recruiters
Hit consistent activity goals — you’ll keep the flywheel spinning:
30–40 calls/day
40+ reachouts/day
10–20 booked calls/week
Keep candidate data organized and tagged in Ashby
Prevent duplicate outreach and ensure a seamless recruiter handoff
Flag gaps in tools or workflow and help make things faster, smoother, smarter
Write short, personal, and engaging messages that get replies
Test subject lines, tones, and formats to improve conversion rates
Re-engage previously sourced candidates through smart follow-ups
Use ChatGPT and AI tools to personalize faster and scale smarter
Partner weekly with recruiters to prioritize top roles and share intel
Learn what great candidates look like and how hiring decisions get made
Track what’s working in your outreach and share insights with the team
Continuously refine your sourcing strategy — tools, copy, timing, everything
Consistently hitting or exceeding call and outreach targets
Maintaining 100% clean data and candidate tracking in Ashby
Improving your booked call and reply rates over time
Delivering warm, qualified candidates that help recruiters close faster
Your output = faster hires, happier clients, and serious growth.
Have 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, or research
Love experimenting with tools, automation, and data
Think in systems, not chaos — you like things clean, fast, and measurable
Are curious about people, startups, and what makes great talent tick
Write like a human — short, confident, and clear (no fluff)
Move fast, stay accountable, and get energy from progress
Want to grow into recruiting, client success, or growth ops
Believe in relationships over transactions — and love helping others win
