Stratus Restaurant, located within the prestigious Toronto Athletic Club, is known for delivering elevated dining experiences through exceptional service, quality cuisine, and attention to detail. We are currently seeking an experienced Food Runner / Busser to join our small, close-knit team and help create memorable moments for our members and guests.
The Food Runner / Busser plays a key role in supporting daily restaurant operations and ensuring seamless service. This position works closely with servers, kitchen staff, and leadership to maintain Stratus’ high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Support servers with daily service and guest needs
Follow all opening and closing procedures
Deliver food accurately and in accordance with Stratus standards
Ensure food quality, presentation, and timely delivery
Respond professionally and promptly to guest concerns
Collect and share guest feedback to enhance service and build loyalty
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the restaurant
Adhere to uniform, grooming, and appearance standards
Assist with inventory control and minimize product loss
Support food expediting
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and security policies
Promote Stratus culture with integrity, professionalism, and teamwork
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
Be proficient in all service areas to assist when needed
You will work closely with the F&B Manager, Events Director, Executive Chef, and both front- and back-of-house team members.

Must be 19 years of age or older
Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, customer service, or server assistant role
Previous restaurant experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to take direction and assist with delegated responsibilities
Capable of performing duties across multiple restaurant positions
SMART Serve certification required
Ability to lift heavy objects
Full-time, permanent position
Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends as required
8-hour shifts
Ability to work 40+ hours per week
Hourly wage: $18–$19 per hour
