The Opportunity:

Embark on a journey where you play a vital role in shaping children's learning, growth, and fun while fostering an inclusive and engaging space! As a Day Camp Staff, you'll contribute to their physical and social development in a safe and child-centered haven. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and deliver daily activities that spark creativity and excitement.


•  Understand each child and their family's unique needs, planning for successful outcomes.


•  Ensure seamless execution of daily routines, documenting and completing tasks promptly.


• Comply with New Brunswick Child Care standards and Abuse Protocol Practices, aligning programming with YMCA and New Brunswick standards.


•  Embrace the YMCA Healthy Child Development Program, infusing its principles into your vibrant programming.


•  Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, responding promptly and effectively in emergencies.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in a Day Camp or Youth Program setting.


• Strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills


• Excellent team player with cooperative leadership abilities.


• Flexible with working hours and locations.


• Employment contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a cleared Social Development Check.


• Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR.
