Summer Junior Golf Camp Assistant

Location: Glen Arbour Golf Course, Hammonds Plains

About the Role

The Deerfield Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our Junior Golf Camp team as Summer Junior Camp Assistants. In this role, you’ll support the Lead Coaches in running fun and engaging golf camps, ensuring a safe, positive, and exciting experience for all participants. If you enjoy working with kids, being outdoors, and have a passion for sports, this is the perfect summer job for you!  

What You’ll Do 

• Assist with camp operations, including attendance, setup, and cleanup.  


• Engage with campers, ensuring they feel welcome and included.  


• Supervise golf activities on the Deerfield Par 3 Course.  


• Participate in daily activities and encourage campers to get involved.  


• Enforce safety procedures to create a fun and secure environment.  


• Support the **Golf Operations Team** with additional tasks as needed.  

What We’re Looking For 

• A friendly and energetic personality with a passion for working with kids.  


• A valid Nova Scotia driver’s license.  


• Experience working with children (preferred but not required).  


• Golf knowledge is an asset (but not required).  


• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.  


• Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day.

Availability Requirements

Applicants must be available for a minimum of 4 weeks from the following camp dates:  

• July 7 – 11 
  


• July 14 – 18 
  


• July 28 – August 1 
  


• August 4 – 8
