Summary

We are seeking a handy, versatile and discreet professional to support a private family with various needs, including house maintenance/management and professional & personal driving duties. This role requires great flexibility, on-call availability, and the ability to respond quickly to a variety of requests. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on skills, is proactive, helpful, and detail-oriented, and is capable of delivering high-level service in a confidential environment.

Responsibilities

House Maintenance/Management / General Household Support

• Provide day-to-day logistical and practical support (errands, light maintenance, coordination of services, etc.).
  


• Oversee a primary residence and secondary properties (mainly in Montreal and occasionally in Tremblant or Austin).
  


• Identify maintenance and repair projects, both interior and exterior.
  


• General oversight of residences' services, including ventilation, heating/cooling systems, light exterior upkeep, painting, minor repairs, etc.
  


• Source and supervise third-party vendors and contractors.
  

Chauffeur Services

• Ensure safe and punctual transportation for the Executive Chairwoman of the Board, her family, and guests.
  


• Ensure that vehicles are always clean and in good mechanical condition.
  


• Maintain adequate fuel levels in all vehicles.
  


• Drive vehicles to maintenance appointments and handle upkeep when needed.
  


• Respond quickly to urgent and unexpected needs, sometimes on short notice.
  


• Always maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous professional experience with a private family.
  


• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
  


• Positive, reliable, and service-oriented attitude.
  


• Valid driver’s licence with an excellent driving record.
  


• Ability to adapt to irregular schedules.
  


• High availability and schedule flexibility.
  

Additional Information

• Full-time position (35 to 40 hours per week).
  


• Hourly rate: $30 to $35/hour.
  


• Required availability Monday to Friday:
  




• Between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  


• From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 1 to 2 days per week
  




• Flexibility required to occasionally cover weekends (with approximately 1 week's notice).
  


• Weekly hours may vary but will always total between 35 and 40 hours.
