We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our Operations!

You have:

• 5+ years experience in road construction and/or traffic control


• 3+ years leadership experience in a changing and hectic environment


• Exceptional knowledge of Book 7, and other relevant industry requirements a definite asset


• Experience leading in a unionized environment


• Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract


• Commitment to health and safety, knowledge of the OHSA, and experience with site inspections and reporting


• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends


• Ability and willingness to work overtime


• Strong communication skills – oral, written and read


• Excellent approach to customer service


• Positive and strong leadership


• Exceptional problem-solving skills


• Computer literate and comfortable using technology

As a Supervisor, you will:

• 
  Oversee teams, vehicles, and equipment each shift and ensure appropriate coverage


• 
  Supervise employees and communicate job information in a positive manner


• 
  Supervise job set up, maintenance, and removal


• 
  Lead, direct, and mentor staff


• 
  Proactively participate with site inventory and equipment requirements (i.e. barrels, signs, quads etc.)


• 
  Communicate with Customers in a professional manner and present a positive approach to problem solving


• 
  Address issues as they arise


• 
  Perform and document health and safety inspections of worksites


• 
  Champion Ramudden Services’s program including health and safety, employee engagement, and other programs


• 
  Attend meetings and complete assigned tasks


• 
  Communicate with Dispatcher/Scheduler
