Are you the one we’re looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Supervisor, Resettlement Assistance Program to support GARs at the Hamilton and Brantford locations who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness, and empowerment; to our clients, families, and each other.
Under the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP), the Government of Canada helps government-assisted refugees (GARs) when they first arrive in Canada by providing direct financial support and funding immediate and essential services. The Wesley RAP supervisor ensures the smooth delivery of the RAP program, including immediate and critical services to clients, generally within four to six weeks of arrival in Canada. These include reception services and temporary accommodation at Wesley Brantford and 467 Main Street locations, assistance in locating permanent accommodation, needs assessment, and referrals to other settlement programs and community-based services, and information and orientation on financial and non-financial information.
This position is a unionized, full-time, permanent position. The rate of pay is $26.88 per hour. This position is 37.5 hours per week.
