If the answer is yes, we want you to join our team! We are hiring a manager to lead Surplus Sales and Operations for the Government of Alberta (GoA)

Reporting to the Director of Surplus Sales and Warehousing, you will be required but not limited to:

Lead Surplus Sales’ implementing a customer-centric culture in the planning and disposition of assets, to maximize the return on investment.

Lead the development of new policies that add value to the Government of Alberta (GoA) throughout the asset lifecycle.

You will oversee implementation and training of new policies and procedures across the entire enterprise, promoting fiscal stewardship.

Mange all areas of many teams of highly motivated material coordinators, administrators, logistics operations, and distribution staff in a fast-paced environment.

Write briefing notes to provide advice for executive leadership about non-routine issues.

Manage all aspects of unit expenditure by determining the yearly budget, accurately forecasting expenses, and developing both an Operational Plan with metric-managed goals and a Business Plan aligned with branch priorities and progress.
