Who We Are Looking For
Accreditation Canada is seeking experienced health care professionals residing permanently in Canada to join our team of over 500 surveyors.
This opportunity is well‑suited to professionals with experience in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), including those with:
A regulated clinical background (e.g., Registered Nurse, Medical Doctor, Medical Laboratory Technologist), and/or
Specialized ART laboratory expertise (e.g., Clinical Embryologist, Andrology professional)
We encourage applicants with ART‑specific clinical or laboratory experience to apply.
Your Impact
As a surveyor, you will:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct on-site surveys.
Assess organizational programs and services against standards of excellence, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Share your expertise to guide organizations in adopting best practices and achieving better outcomes.
Key Details
Location: Canada, primarily Ontario
Time Commitment: Minimum of two surveys per year (approximately 10 days).
Support: Receive initial training, ongoing professional development, a modest honorarium, and full travel reimbursement as per expense policy.
Earn continuing education credits from the First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA), Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
Required Qualifications
Employment in an organization accredited by Accreditation Canada or a partner organization and located within Canada.
Experience working in Assisted Reproductive Technology.
Senior-level experience working in health care.
Clinical expertise as a Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse or Medical Laboratory Technologist with valid licensure or
specialized ART laboratory expertise (e.g., Clinical Embryologist or Andrology professional).
Experience working with patients, clinicians, administrators, or governance teams on service design or quality improvement initiatives and a strong commitment to improving care quality.
Proficiency in English (writing and communication) and technology.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude.
Knowledge of Accreditation Canada programs and accreditation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Located in Ontario or Quebec
Fluency in additional languages such as French.
