Using emerging technology and business trends, the System Architecture Specialist is leading the definition of the global architecture of the training devices to meet the requirements of the comprehensive integrated training solution. Working in collaboration with a network of system engineering specialists and domain experts, they are responsible for the architecture definition, costing and risk evaluation throughout all program phases.
Starting at the capture and proposal phase, the System Architecture Specialist support the business development and proposal teams to define a strategic solution that will maximize our chance to win contracts. Once a contract is awarded, they will refine the solution and translate it into different engineering system components and lead the critical design review (CDR) of the complete architecture. Post CDR, the System Architecture Specialist will ensure the proposed technical solution is followed and is optimized to meet the customer’s training requirement avoiding scope change and cost increase.
