Job Description - System Support & Security Team Lead

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of System Support & Security Team Lead based out of our Bayside Head Office location in Saint John, NB.

The System Support & Security Team Lead plays an integral role in ensuring that all business users receive system level
support in a timely manner, as well as ensuring the correct system access is applied and audited for correctness. This
position involves overseeing a team and ensuring department KPIs are met.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervise and lead a team to achieve performance targets and KPI’s
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to team members to
enhance their skills and performance * Conducting regular team meetings to communicate updates, discuss, challenge and foster a positive team environment
  • Providing feedback and monitoring team performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolution
of customer issues * Develop and implement strategies to improve internal customer satisfaction
  • Oversee escalated internal customer inquiries and complaints
  • Perform security audits to ensure correctness
  • Send end user communication regarding system changes/bug resolution
  • Ensure end user documentation is maintained
  • Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education, with a focus in IT or a related field would be considered an asset
  • Minimum 2-5 years of previous IT/System Support experience
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven experience as a Customer Support or Security lead in a similar role within a business setting
  • Bilingual (English/French) would be considered an asset
