Position: Systems Testing Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Systems Testing / QA Specialist to execute comprehensive testing activities across web-based applications, APIs, and integrated systems. This role involves hands-on testing, defect management, test planning, and collaboration across project teams to ensure high-quality system delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow a clearly defined test strategy
  


• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing of web applications and reports
  


• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
  


• Develop and manage defects based on priority and severity
  


• Coordinate defect tracking throughout the full testing lifecycle
  


• Participate in iteration planning sessions and define acceptance criteria
  


• Execute test cases and report testing results
  


• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test data creation and execution
  


• Lead and participate in peer reviews of test artefacts
  


• Provide input into project testing strategies
  


• Review and communicate test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  


• Facilitate and participate in regular defect review meetings
  


• Perform database validation using SQL in an Oracle environment
  


• Generate test data using automation tools to support testing cycles
  


• Assist in defining testing scope and resolving issues during iterations
  

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Experience with functional, regression, and integration testing of web-based applications
  


• Proficiency in developing automated test scripts and executing complex test plans
  


• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., SOAP UI, Swagger, Postman)
  


• Strong experience with defect tracking tools and defect lifecycle management
  


• Experience performing database validation using SQL in an Oracle environment
  


• Ability to create test data for automated and manual testing
  


• Experience supporting UAT processes
  


• Knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR
  


• Understanding of accessibility standards and regulations
