Job Description - Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Title: Systems Testing/QA Specialist

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Location: Toronto, ON

Hybrid Work Environment: 2 Days remote, 3 Days Onsite

Must Haves

Strong experience in Sanity, Smoke, System, GUI, Positive, Negative, Regression, Performance, Volume, Stress, Black Box, Functional, UAT, End To End, Cross Browser and Cross Platform testing
Experience in the areas of Software Development, Quality Assurance & Testing including automation using JIRA
Experience in creating and implementing strategies on designing, maintaining and executing manual test cases for GUI, functional, API, and end-to-end tests

Jobs Description

Knowledge of Jira
Knowledge of the Agile methodology
Hands-on experience in SQL Server database scripting
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong experience in Sanity, Smoke, System, GUI, Positive, Negative, Regression, Performance, Volume, Stress, Black Box, Functional, UAT, End To End, Cross Browser and Cross Platform testing
Experience in the areas of Software Development, Quality Assurance & Testing including automation using JIRA
Experience in creating and implementing strategies on designing, maintaining and executing manual test cases for GUI, functional, API, and end-to-end tests
Experience Analyzing, developing, debugging, executing complex regression test cases for integrated applications.
Work with Technical Developers to clarify testing requirements
A demonstrated ability to work with tight deadlines
A quick learner and capable of adapting to constantly changing project landscapes
Experience with testing websites specifically cross-browser testing
Experience with mobile device testing
Good understanding of the System Development Process
Prior experience in systems environment as a tester
Test planning experience
The ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work across teams and be proactive
Willing to provide support outside of regular work hours if needed to meet high profile project timelines.
Expertise to influence testing strategy and guiding test automation

Provide mentorship and perform knowledge transfer to other peer team members

Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
