The Opportunity:
Reporting initially to the Chief People & Culture Officer, this role plays a key part in bringing to life Tantalus’ strategic talent vision, the roadmap for how we attract, engage, and hire the people who power our growth. The overall vision and talent strategy are defined at the Chief People & Culture Officer level, and this role is accountable for operationalizing and executing them through strong process design, delivery, and partnership across the business.
Once the function is fully established, the position will transition under the Director, People & Culture to ensure close integration with HR operations and business partnership.
You’ll help build and evolve the company’s talent acquisition infrastructure, ensuring alignment with our broader people strategy. You’ll work directly with hiring managers across functions and geographies to deliver exceptional hires, streamline processes, and strengthen our employer brand. You’ll also evaluate and optimize our vendor ecosystem to ensure the right partnerships are in place to support sustainable growth. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role, one that translates vision into execution while continuously improving how recruiting operates to make it faster, smarter, and more scalable.

This position will be a hybrid position based in our Burnaby, BC office.
