Tape Edge Operator

Job Summary

• Position Title: Tape Edge Operator
• Environment: Warehouse. This role is under the Union Agreement with the company.
• Location: Our warehouse is located in Edmonton
• Shifts: 8 Hours (day shift)
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Rate of Pay: $ 18.88/hour to start, rate increase after probation
• Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machine, corrects any defective taping on mattress.
• Make any necessary sewing machine adjustments and handle basic maintenance of machine.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean orderly condition.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Observe and obey all safety rules, regulations and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years related work experiences.
• Experience working in busy setting warehouse.
• Excellent eye and hand coordination.
• Good team player and can work independently.
• Reliable and punctual.
• This job involves standing for long periods of time.
