Team Captain - Terrace Door

Shift: Monday– Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Work as a member of a team with department leadership to run an effective, efficient department


• Ability to spend 60-70% of workday on the floor


• Oversee production and processes focusing on safety, quality and efficiencies  


• Manage daily targets


• Promote and lead in safety, quality, 5S, and Continuous Improvement


• Lead meetings as required


• Assist with problem solving and investigations


• Implement and sustain any new tools


• Support with time and attendance as required


• Act as a key person in the designated work area


• Develop cross training plan for department


• Ensure materials are available for use


• Ensure leadership is aware of all situations regarding planning, quality, personnel, safety, and materials

• Ability to work independently (self-motivated)


• Ability to understand and write simple correspondences as well as verbal communication in English


• Good organizational skills


• Ability to work as part of a team and motivate team members


• Basic computer and math skills


• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation


• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. with assistance
