The Team Lead, IT Service Delivery provides leadership for IT service management and configuration management practices. This role ensures request, incident, problems, and configuration management processes operate reliably and accurately aligned with business objectives and enterprise governance to enable stable service delivery and trusted operational data.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach the service management team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

  • Own ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge) ensuring alignment with ITIL and enterprise standards.

  • CMDB & Configuration Management: Accountable to ensure accuracy, governance, audits and continuous improvement of configuration data and relationships.

  • Own service performance management through SLAs, KPIs and quality metrics to measure service performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.

  • Ensure managed service providers are held accountable to contractual obligations, SLA’s and service commitments

  • Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings ensuring proper risk assessment quality and integrity of CI and service data.

  • Act as operational escalation support for major incidents, high-risk changes, and critical problems, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.

  • Drive process optimization and automation across ITSM and CMDB.

  • Manage ITSM tool operations including configuration, reporting, trend analysis, and system integrations.

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT operations and business units to ensure service expectations are met.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • ITIL Foundation (required); ITIL Intermediate or Expert (preferred).

  • Additional certifications in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools (preferred).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7+ years in IT service management roles.

  • 3 years in a leadership or senior operational role.

  • Proven experience implementing and managing ITIL-based processes.

  • Experience working with managed service providers and contractual SLAs.

  • Strong experience with ITSM Platforms, reporting and workflow automation.

  • Experience governing CMDB accuracy and audits.

  • Strong operational risk and escalation management capability.

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) workforce with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will have the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays and will be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
