Role Overview

The company is in search of a skilled and adaptable Technical Account Manager to join its team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer relationship management, and leadership capabilities. As the primary liaison between Conduit Commerce and its customers, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, managing customer relationships, and leading the implementation of technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and address their needs effectively.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within Conduit Commerce.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers to gather and document project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Solution Implementation: Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions, coordinating efforts with internal and external teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with global teams to architect and build scalable solutions, leveraging Python and various JavaScript stacks.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship, conducting code reviews, and guiding team members in best practices.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, translating technical concepts into clear and actionable insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and customer satisfaction enhancement, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role, with proficiency in Python and various JavaScript stacks.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including agile methodologies and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships and delivering technical solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain management systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as account management or technical consultancy.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools.
