Location: St. Catharines, Ontario (CA-ON)
Assignment: Temporary
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Salary: $43.82/hour (min) to $46.74/hour (max) after the 90-day work probation period.

Your responsibilities

• Perform inspections and follow up of various elements of the civil, mechanical and electrical infrastructures and facilities to ensure that they are in accordance with the drawings, specifications and applicable regulations.  


• Update the data in the applicable computer system.  


• Prepare and complete inspection reports.


• Provide technical assistance to the maintenance group.

Your profile

• College Diploma in a related field (civil engineering technology or mechanical engineering technology)


• At least five (5) years of relevant technical experience


• Knowledge of the applicable work procedures, rules, standards and practices for performing the duties.  


• Specific knowledge of the inspection techniques and practices of the field of expertise.


• Knowledge of the quality assurance and quality control methods and procedures.


• Very good knowledge of the relevant computer applications and tools and software (e.g.: Microsoft Office, SAP etc.).


• Eligible for certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists


• Valid Class G (ON) driver's license and insurable driving record


• Eligible for marine transportation security clearance;


• Availability to undergo a medical examination, functional capacity evaluation.
