Job Description - Technical Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Create technical marketing documentation for internal and external use, such as training documents, product guides, technical sales materials and more
  • Interpret tech jargon for use in market and end user materials, such as brochures, eBooks, white papers and more
  • Facilitate training for internal users, as well as external users for product, technical, and install knowledge
  • Develop customer journeys and modify as new products are brought to market
  • Develop and execute on product launch plans for local and international markets
  • Assist in organization, planning and representation at various industry tradeshows, conferences and events
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and new products emerging
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to shape strategies for both new and existing properties
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing campaigns across digital marketing, social media, and event coordination.

    • Qualifications:

  • University or college diploma or degree with a Marketing major.
  • Background in technology or agriculture is an asset.
  • Experience of 5+ years in a Product Marketing Specialist or Technical marketing role.
  • Experience with research methods using data analytics software.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and Google Adwords.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
