The Quantum and Nanotechnologies (QN) Research Centre is looking for a technical officer to assist its research programs in advanced photonic and quantum technologies. The successful candidate will share the organization’s core values of integrity, excellence, respect, and creativity, and will contribute to supporting its research facilities for strengthening the NRC’s capabilities in III–V semiconductor technologies.
This position will focus on providing technical support for research facilities on Surface and Interfaces analysis within the Epitaxy Team. The incumbent will be involved in hands-on technical work and problem solving activities while maintaining high standards of quality to support and troubleshoot various analysis high vaccum tools.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Post-secondary education in a technical, engineering, or scientific discipline related to the position.
Bachelor degree in physics engineering or materials science would be an asset.
A combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
